I recently went on a holiday to Bandung, a city in West Java, Indonesia. It was a great trip because I hadn’t been to Bandung in a while, and I was excited to explore the city and see what it had to offer.
One of the first things I did was visit the Tangkuban Perahu, a volcano that is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bandung. I hiked to the top of the volcano and was rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area. I also enjoyed trying some of the local food and souvenirs that were available at the top of the volcano.

Another highlight of my trip was visiting the Saung Angklung Udjo, a cultural center that promotes the traditional music of West Java. I attended a performance of the angklung, a traditional musical instrument made of bamboo, and learned about the history and culture of the instrument. I also enjoyed watching a traditional dance performance and trying some of the local snacks that were available.

Actually, I also wanted to go to Trans Studio, but I didn’t have enough money to buy the ticket. Once satisfied in Bandung, I have to go home.

Overall, I had a great time on my trip to Bandung. It was a nice change of pace from my usual routine, and I enjoyed exploring the city and experiencing its culture and history. I would definitely recommend Bandung to anyone looking for a fun and interesting holiday destination.

I had been looking forward to Eid al-Fitr for weeks. It’s the holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, and it’s a time for joy, togetherness, and celebration.
On the night before Eid, I helped my family clean our house and prepare traditional dishes. We also bought new clothes to wear on the holiday. I felt excited and grateful to have such a loving and supportive family.

The next morning, I woke up early and put on my new dress. My mother and I prepared a delicious breakfast, and then we went to the mosque to perform the Eid prayer. I met many of my neighbors and friends there, and we hugged and wished each other a happy holiday.

After the prayer, my family and I visited our relatives one by one. We exchanged gifts and sweets, and we shared stories and laughter. I felt happy and grateful to be surrounded by so much love and kindness.

In the afternoon, I went out with my friends to play in the park. We flew kites, played games, and ate ice cream. We talked about our hopes and dreams for the future, and we promised to stay in touch even after the holiday was over.

As the day turned into evening, my family and I gathered around the dinner table. We ate a feast of opor, rendang, and sweets, and we thanked Allah for our blessings. I felt content and fulfilled, knowing that I had spent the day with the people I loved most.

As the night grew darker, I went to bed with a smile on my face. Eid al-Fitr was more than just a holiday – it was a celebration of faith, family, and friendship. And I was grateful for every moment of it.

It was a beautiful summer day, and my friend and I had been planning a trip to the mountains for weeks. We packed our bags and set off early in the morning, eager to spend the day hiking and exploring the beautiful landscape.

In the lecture given by the lecturer, I learned that articles are adjectives. articles also modify nouns.

In English there are two articles: "the" and "a/an". The is used to refer to specific or particular nouns: "a/an" is used to modify non-specific and non-particular nouns which we call "the" as the definite article and "a/an" as the indefinite article.

For example, if I say "let's read a novel", I mean a specific novel. if I say, "let's read a novel" I mean any novel, not a particular novel.

Although I did not go anywhere with my family during holiday, my mother made many fun activities for me and my nephew. The first day of holiday we made cookies for eid al-fitr. We made three cookies; kastengel, putri salju, and nastar. We started at 9 a.m. I was in charge of measuring the ingredients and my nephew was in charge of preparing the ingredients. The first cookies we made was kastengel. The ingredients were only flour, eggs, sugar, butter, and cheese. My mother put the ingredients one by one into a mixer. After the ingredients were mixed well, we formed the dough into small. We also added a lot of cheese on top of the dough to make it tastier. After that, my mother put the baking sheet filled with the small logs into oven. While we were waiting, we prepared the ingredients for putri salju and nastar. The cookies smelled so good I couldn’t wait until iftar. After we finished making three cookies, we prepared food for iftar. At 05:50 P.M, we had iftar. The cookies we made tasted delicious. I almost ate one jar by myself.
